This is an ancient game from Ireland that dates back to the Viking occupation. A member of the “tafl” family of games, probably played very much like Tablut.

It’s an exciting milestone for me and my game design aspirations. My first Protospiel!
It’s been about a week now, and I’m still remembering a great experience there with fellow game designers / playtesters. I’ll try to get a chance to tell some stories, but for now, let’s just say it was shiny.
House rule…
When you play Monopoly (IF you play Monopoly), use the rule that players can choose which way to go around the track before they roll. Going past “GO” the wrong way costs $200.
